Department of PG Chemistry

  In the year 2008, owing to the colossal demand for chemistry in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the Department of M.Sc., Chemistry was established in B.V.RAJU College with M.Sc., Organic Chemistry specialization and later M.Sc Analytical Chemistry was added in 2018.

  The department is supported by qualified and experienced faculty who impart requisite guidance to students in their curriculum, projects, and placements along with intellectual and psychological bolstering. Faculty also provide competitive knowledge and communication ability for students with fine comportment.

  The department provides a creative and supportive atmosphere for faculty-mentored research and student-centred learning. Students are expected to obtain a broad understanding of chemistry and learn to think critically and communicate effectively

  The department maintains well equipped laboratories in par with the conventions of Adikavi Nannaya University and also conducts instrumentation training program using HPLC, GC, UV, IR, Dissolution and Disintegration Instruments etc.

  Department conducts intern ship program for M.Sc First year students in various pharma industries like Dr. Reddy's, Aurobindo pharma, GVK Biosciences, Lyaila inpex etc, at Hyderabad and Vizag.

  The faculty also take keen interest in student's placement. Our students of the outgoing batches are placed in mammoth industries like AUROBINDO, GVK BIO, LAURUS APTITUTE, SMRUTHI ORGANICS etc.
