WORKSHOP FOR Smt.B SEETHA POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS
On July 1, 2024, a four‑week hands‑on workshop commenced at the CFI for final‑year physics students of Smt.B.Seetha Polytechnic. A total of 120 students, divided into batches of 15, each received two days of intensive training. Under the guidance of two CFI mentors per group, students learned soldering, PCB component replacement, and electronics fundamentals like resistors, capacitors, IR sensors, and open/closed circuits. In the second batch, the teams successfully created three projects: a laser security alarm, a water tank alarm, and a bird deterrent system for paddy fields.
